Creobot and Botpress
Botpress is a conversational AI platform aimed at building configurable agents and workflows. It occupies a more developer oriented position than a drop in website assistant.
Status, stated first
Creobot is in development, with a self serve launch targeted for the next month. There is no self serve signup URL yet and pricing is not final. Botpress is a shipping product. Any comparison has to start there.
What we have verified
| Point | What we can say |
|---|---|
| Platform positioning | Botpress positions itself as a platform for building agents, which implies more configuration surface than a website assistant. |
| Not independently verified here | We have not fetched and analysed the Botpress sitemap or documentation as part of writing this page, so we are not making detailed claims about its current feature set, pricing or limits. |
Where Botpress is the better choice
If you need branching conversational flows, custom logic, multiple channels beyond a website, or a platform your developers will build on, that is a different product category from a website assistant and Botpress is built for it. Creobot is not, and will not be.
Where Creobot differs
Creobot is deliberately narrow. It answers from your website content, escalates when it should, and reports what your site failed to answer. If you need a configurable agent platform, this narrowness is a limitation rather than a feature.
How we wrote this page
We do not publish unverified claims about another product's pricing, limits or capabilities. Where we have not checked something directly, this page says so rather than inferring it. If anything here is out of date or wrong, tell us and we will correct it.
