Ecommerce
Answer sizing, shipping, returns and stock questions from your own policy pages.
The problem
Ecommerce pre purchase questions are repetitive and time sensitive. Sizing, shipping times, returns, stock, materials, compatibility. The answers usually exist in policy pages and product descriptions that nobody reads before asking.
How Creobot handles it
It answers from your own policy and product content with the source attached. Shipping and returns questions in particular are well suited, because the answers are stable, written down, and asked constantly.
The limit to be honest about
Creobot answers from indexed content. It does not have live access to stock levels, order status or account data, and it should not pretend to. Questions about a specific order are account specific and the right behaviour is to route them to a person rather than approximate.
This is a real boundary and it is worth stating plainly rather than discovering after deployment.
What the gap data shows on a store
The unanswered list on an ecommerce site tends to surface product information missing from listings. If forty people asked whether an item runs small, the fix is on the product page, and it will help the much larger group who wondered and did not ask.
